Aussies continue their domination
Zimbabwe are 96/6, chasing 263 to win against mighty Australia. The Kangaroos scored 262/6 in their 50 overs, thanks to 79 by Watson and a 58 no by Clarke. Ponting was run out for 28. Lee, Tait and Johnson bowled at almost 145 kph to bamboozle the Zimbabwean batsmen. Krejza bowled well and picked up one wicket. Shaun Tait was the most impressive. The formidable Aussie bowling of Lee, Tait, Johnson, Watson and Krejza was too much for the Zimbabweans ! The Kangaroos won the match by 91 runs as Zim could not chase 262. But it seems that the Aussie batting has not asserted itself. They scored only 262 against minnows, Zim. It is said of Australian bowling that theirs is the most lethal attack, with a formidable array of attacking bowlers. One expert opined that they can either bowl the opposition for 50 or go on chasing 500 !
